Mariana trained as an architect overseas and holds an MA in Architecture and Urbanism from the Manchester School of Architecture.
Previously, she had worked on participatory and urban design for 3 years. Since 2021, Mariana has worked as a townscape and heritage consultant and her experience includes the preparation of EIA and non-EIA HTVIA reports; producing graphics such as maps and analytical diagrams, and VU.CITY studies.
She also conducts archival and desktop historical research; assesses the significance of designated and non-designated heritage assets and visual impact of new developments within historical settings.
She also assists Directors and Associate Directors on larger schemes.
